AK-QAPL Adaptor Cable

The AK-QAPL-M/S is a short Low Profile XLR Adaptor Cable (6cm). The cable outlets are both 9 o'clock. 

It is available both in mono (black cable end piece) and stereo (grey cable end piece).

The cable is part of the set QAPL-TX (consisting of the QAPL and the short adaptor cable AK-QAPL-M/S) - especially designed for QuickPole Series 5 boomsThe QAPL-TX allows to attach the Plug-On Transmitter parallel to the tube when using an internally wired QuickPole with coiled cable and lateral cable outlet.

 

Why cables at Ambient?

Quite simply: because they are better. We rely on premium quality and high-end material.  

Better shielding: We use a braided shield instead of the usual wrapped shield. It is denser and therefore shields better against interference.

Greater stability: Instead of PVC - as is common with cheap cables - we use polyurethane. Even after frequent untwisting and twisting, the plug and cable will not break off.
