Coiled Mixer/Camera Loom for Sound Devices MixPre-3 and MixPre-6

The cable, specially manufactured for us, is constructed from two individually shielded, balanced pairs and two return lines outside the shield. This ensures optimum channel separation and eliminates crosstalk of the return signal. The cable sheath is made of polyurethane and therefore remains uniformly elastic over a wide temperature range.

Why cables by Ambient?

Quite simply: because they are better. We rely on premium quality and high-end material.  

Better shielding: We use a braided shield instead of the usual wrapped shield. It is denser and therefore shields better against interference.

Greater stability: Instead of PVC - as is common with cheap cables - we use polyurethane. Even after frequent untwisting and twisting, the plug and cable will not break off.
