The large touchscreen monitor provides access to all the information and functions that modern production requires. In combination with a hardware mixer with 8 motorized faders, and knobs for the most important functions forms an unbeatable system.

Fast response time

The Oasis mixer connects to the Nomad with just one cable. This allows you to switch from sound cart to bag in seconds. The fully featured controller has 8 touch-sensitive motorized faders on 3 banks for the up to 40 selectable channels. In addition, each channel strip is equipped with trim control /Zaxnet gain control, LED meter and PFL button. Additional function buttons for metadata, routing, channel strip, as well as 8 dedicated output controls, transport control and talkback section make the Oasis a real all-purpose weapon with the Nomad 12. The large user interface on the touchscreen takes over all digital control over the recorder function, forming with the hardware controller one of the most intuitive and complete recording systems for film sound.

Which computers are recommended with the Oasis?

To use the functionality of the computer interface, a Windows 8 computer (or higher) or tablet is required, which is not included in the delivery. A monitor size of at least 12″ is recommended. An OS version has also already been announced.

PC selection recommendation

• Monitor size of at least 12″.
• Internal backup battery for possible power outages.

Most computers run on 16-19 volts whereas most sound cart batteries supply 12V. So a voltage converter may be necessary if you want to work with battery.
