AK-QAPL – short adapter cable for plug-on transmitters

The AK-QAPL is a short low-profile XLR adapter cable (6 cm) from XLR male to XLR female. The cable outlet is at 9 o'clock on both connectors.

The cable is available for mono plug-on transmitters (XLR 3-pin, black connector caps) and for stereo plug-on transmitters (XLR 5-pin, grey connector caps).

It is part of the QAPL-TX set: together with the QAPL boom pole adapter, you use it to attach a plug-on transmitter parallel to the tube when you use an internally cabled QuickPole with a coiled cable and side cable outlet.

Why cables by Ambient?

Quite simply: because they are better. We rely on premium quality and high-end material.

Better shielding: Instead of the usual wrapped shield, we use a braided shield wherever possible. It is denser and therefore shields better against interference.

Greater stability: Instead of PVC – as is common with cheap cables – we use polyurethane wherever possible. Even after frequent coiling and uncoiling, plug and cable will not break off.
