Microphone Power Supply

The featherweight UMP III supplies your microphone on the boompole with power - our "Eumel" series allows the operation of electret microphones on microphone inputs with 48-volt phantom power.

"Eumel"

The EMP nicknamed “The Eumel” (pronounce “Oymal”, german for widget) is exactly that: A small widget which enables the operation of electret microphones on microphone inputs with 48-volt phantom power.

It converts Phantom 48 V to 5.6 V electret power and outputs the signal electronically balanced with low impedance. A range of models is available with standard sockets to fit the plugs of most popular radio mic systems in 2 or 3 wired configuration.

UMP III

Give your microphone the juice it needs without adding a lot of extra weight to your boompole.

UMP stands for Universal Microphone Power Supply. The Ambient UMP series is designed to use Phantom or T-powered microphones on a “wireless boom” with belt pack transmitters.
