Windshield for “short” shotgun microphones

Cinela windshields are tailored to specific microphones. The PIANISSIMO windshield, the little sister of the PIANO, was developed for shotgun microphones shorter than 21 cm (e.g., Schoeps MiniCMIT, DPA 4017C, Sennheiser MKH50, Schoeps CMC6).

As with the PIANO, the PIANISSIMO cage is non-removable, providing a lighter windshield and better suspension. It maintains the same principle of an ovoid suspended cage, with an elliptical cross-section that is slightly smaller than the PIANO.

The PIANISSIMO was developed in parallel with the E-OSIX suspensions, allowing it to accept a wider variety of suspension modules compared to the PIANO. It also offers a broad range of MS, DMS, and XY stereo combinations with many more customizable configurations than the PIANO. Thanks to its more modern design, the PIANISSIMO is more versatile compared to the PIANO.

A PIANI-1 set includes:

• Windshield with a swivel two-axis suspension,
• Mono suspension module and full wiring corresponding to the microphone configuration.
• Primary fabric, usable in light wind or indoors.
• Choose an accompanying fur: SP (short pile fur) or LP (long pile fur), in black, gray, or black/gray. The fur color will be individually requested after ordering.
• A polycarbonate transport case.

Windshield weight: 325 grams with suspension module and primary 3D fabric (without fur).
