QuickLok – the quick release for boom poles

The Ambient QuickLok is a rattle-free, self-locking, snap-in quick release for microphone assemblies. The QuickLok sits on the boom pole, the tip on the microphone mount – so you can swap your microphone assembly in one move.

How the QuickLok works

The QuickLok fits any 3/8" thread and therefore boom poles as well as microphone stands. A grub screw secures it on the pole and prevents it from twisting. You screw the tip firmly to the microphone mount.

The mechanism is self-locking and self-locating; the tapered design provides a rigid, rattle-free connection.

Applications

The QuickLok is used not only on location, but also for music recordings – wherever microphones, rigs or antennas need to be swapped quickly and still sit securely.

Versions

The QuickLok is available in signature purple and in matte black (bead-blasted), each without a tip, with one tip or with two tips. Additional tips (QRTT) are available separately.

Maintenance
