QUM "Twister" – double joint for stereo microphones

The Twister sits between the boom pole and the microphone mount: a 3/8" female thread at the bottom for the tip of the pole, a 3/8" screw at the top for the mount. It has two joint axes. This lets you keep the microphone horizontal at all times – at any angle to the boom pole.

This matters most when booming with a stereo microphone: the left-right axis has to stay horizontal for the stereo perspective to be correct.

The flanges of the Twister are available as a spare part: QFR.
