QWB – boom pole section with mounting plate for the wireless boom

With the QWB (QuickPole Wireless Boom) you turn your boom pole into a wireless boom: the short section is screwed onto the tip of the pole and carries a bodypack transmitter and the microphone power supply. Together with the UMP III, you can power your microphone (48 V phantom or 12 V T-power) and transmit the audio signal wirelessly with a standard bodypack transmitter.

Transmitter and power supply are attached with hook-and-loop straps on soft pads. The carbon fiber center tube and the mounting plates made of thin aluminum make the QWB sturdy and lightweight.

In the rain, the QWB-RE rain cover protects transmitter and power supply.
