UMP-IN – microphone input cable for the UMP III

The UMP-IN connects your microphone to the input (MIC) of the UMP III microphone power supply. On the UMP III side there is a 4-pin mini XLR female connector (TA4F). The cable is available in two versions:

• XLR 3-pin, female, RF-shielded (UMP-IN-EMC) – for microphones with an XLR connector. This cable is already included with the UMP III.
• For Schoeps CCM (UMP-IN-CCM) – with triax plug (Lemo-compatible).

The UMP-IN also fits the predecessor model UMP II. To connect the UMP III to the transmitter, there is the output cable UMP-OUT.

Why cables by Ambient?

Quite simply: because they are better. We rely on premium quality and high-end material.

Better shielding: Instead of the usual wrapped shield, we use a braided shield wherever possible. It is denser and therefore shields better against interference.

Greater stability: Instead of PVC – as is common with cheap cables – we use polyurethane wherever possible. Even after frequent coiling and uncoiling, plug and cable will not break off.
