UMP-OUT – transmitter connection cable for the UMP III
The UMP-OUT connects the output (TX) of the UMP III microphone power supply to the microphone input of your bodypack transmitter. On the UMP III side there is always a 3-pin mini XLR female connector (TA3F), on the transmitter side the connector that matches your transmitter. The cables are about 16 cm long.
Versions
- Micron Explorer – PushPull-6-pin (Lemo-compatible), series 0B
- Sennheiser EW series – 3.5 mm jack, screw-on
- Sony DWx – Hirose 4-pin
- Audio Ltd. Mini-TX – PushPull-4-pin (Lemo-compatible), series 0B
- Audio Ltd. 20xx – PushPull-6-pin (Lemo-compatible), series 2C
- Shure – TA4F (mini XLR 4-pin)
- Lectrosonics UM/SM – TA5F (mini XLR 5-pin)
- PushPull-3-pin (Lemo-compatible): without RF protection, recommended for analog transmitters, or with RF protection for digital and analog transmitters
- Open ends – no connector on the transmitter side, for fitting your own, about 30 cm long
The version with RF protection contains electronics that suppress RF interference. It also simulates a connected lavalier microphone and thereby enables transmitters that support this (e.g. A20-Mini).
The UMP-OUT also fits the predecessor model UMP II. The matching input cable for your microphone is the UMP-IN.
Why cables by Ambient?
Quite simply: because they are better. We rely on premium quality and high-end material.
Better shielding: Instead of the usual wrapped shield, we use a braided shield wherever possible. It is denser and therefore shields better against interference.
Greater stability: Instead of PVC – as is common with cheap cables – we use polyurethane wherever possible. Even after frequent coiling and uncoiling, plug and cable will not break off.
