Digital Hybrid Wireless®

Since its introduction in 2002, the Digital Hybrid Wireless® product line has impressed with its revolutionary transmission technology: digital audio is combined with an analog FM radio connection.

This combines the outstanding audio quality we know and love from analog radio with the low noise and lowest audio distortion of Digital Wireless.Digital Hybrid Wireless® overcomes the noise of the radio channel by digitally encoding the audio in the transmitter and decoding it in the receiver, but still transmitting the encoded information over an analog FM radio link.  

Digital Hybrid Wireless® was awarded U.S. Patent 7,225,135 in 2007, and in 2017, Lectrosonics received an Academy Award for technical achievement because the majority of Hollywood feature films from 2005 onward were recorded using Lectrosonics Digital Hybrid Wireless® microphone systems.

Digital Monitoring Systems

Everyone on a film set knows wireless monitoring systems that send the audio of the actors live and well understandable to the director. It also works the other way around in TV shows, theater and stage - as cueing systems. So when the directing department wants to whisper instructions to the showmasters or actors live from a distance into the ear.

With its IFB (Interruptible Foldback) and IEM (In-Ear Monitoring) systems, Lectrosonics is a safe bet thanks to its proven Digital Wireless technology. The monitoring systems are very popular with sound engineers due to their long range and high audio quality.  

In combination with the software „Wireless Designer“ you can also manage large setups clearly.
