QP5 cable kits – internal cabling for retrofitting, bottom cable outlet

With a cable kit, you can retrofit your QuickPole Series 5 with internal cabling. A removable tip and the plug-in end piece make retrofitting child's play – no soldering required: simply feed the pre-assembled cable through the boom pole from the top and plug it in at the rear end, done. Our video tutorial shows you how.

Each kit consists of the pre-assembled coiled cable and the screw-on end piece with bottom cable outlet.

Variants

The kits with bottom cable outlet are available with a coiled cable for the QP550 to QP5130, balanced in mono (XLR 3-pin) or stereo (XLR 5-pin).

For the QP5150 and with a straight cable, there are the cable kits with side cable outlet. Ready-cabled, the Series 5 is available as the cabled boom pole with bottom cable outlet.

Why cables by Ambient?

Quite simply: because they are better. We rely on premium quality and high-end material.

Better shielding: Instead of the usual wrapped shield, we use a braided shield wherever possible. It is denser and therefore shields better against interference.

Greater stability: Instead of PVC – as is common with cheap cables – we use polyurethane wherever possible. Even after frequent coiling and uncoiling, plug and cable will not break off.
