CSS-50 - stereo/mono switchable shotgun microphone

Thanks to its vertically arranged three-capsule design, the CSS-50 offers excellent mono/stereo compatibility.

In MONO mode, it maintains sharp directivity across a wide frequency range, capturing sound sources clearly even in noisy or reverberant environments. In NORMAL mode, it provides precise stereo localization with an angle of approximately 115 degrees. The WIDE mode expands the stereo width to 140 degrees, making it ideal for recording sound effects.

The CSS-50 nearly eliminates the proximity effect, ensuring consistent sound quality regardless of the distance to the sound source.
