Aria-8 Control Surface

Aria is a mixing console for the Nova and Nomad recorders/mixers. The Aria-8 works as a standalone 8-fader console, but can also be expanded to 12 or 16 faders with one or two Aria-4 mixers.

Imagine having a complete 16-fader cart setup at your fingertips, and with the removal of a cable, you're ready to go!

The Aria is made from a solid block of aluminum and can withstand even the toughest conditions.

SOLID STATE

The Aria features unique solid-state faders with no moving parts inside, so there are no wearing parts. Field recording often takes place in harsh environments, and the faders are the first thing to let dirt and dust into your mixer. On the Aria, the fader openings are sealed under a Teflon film embedded in the fader tracks.

ROUTING

As usual with Zaxcom, the Aria is extremely flexible when it comes to routing. The input trim knobs can be assigned as input trim knobs or as ZaNet™ Digital Recording Wireless Transmitter Remote Gain Controls. Any input channel on your Nova or Nomad can be assigned to the Aria's faders, while the host recorder itself can accept input channels or be used as an input trim or ZaxNet™ remote control trim.

The Aria also has transport controls, headphone preset selection, mix track routing and track recording functions built into the control panel.

USB HUB

There is a dedicated USB port that supports wired or wireless keyboards. When a keyboard is paired with the Nova, there are a variety of shortcut keys for easy input of metadata and control of many of the recorder's functions.
