TRX745 Plug-on wireless transmitter

The TRX745 is a digital wireless plug-on transmitter with interchangeable cones. It is the only plug-on transmitter that supports all professional microphone types - mono analog, stereo analog, AES and AES42 - making it the ideal choice for wireless transmission directly from boom or handheld microphones.

The housing is made of a combination of high-strength nylon polymer and aluminum. It features Zaxcom High Density (ZHD) modulation.

The connections of the TRX745 can be easily exchanged on site as an option, offering maximum flexibility.

ENCRYPTED AUDIO

The TRX745 transmits with 100% digital modulation so that audio can be fully encrypted. Digital encryption is the only way to keep all audio transmissions private. Digital transmission also provides better audio quality than analog systems.

QC AUDIO TRANSMISSION

The TRX745 also transmits a quality control audio signal via ZaxNet™ so that when miking, the microphone can be monitored directly on site (ERX) independently of the sound truck.

NEVERCLIP™

NeverClip™ is a standard feature of the TRX745 and works with all mono transmission types. The function uses two A-D converters to extend the transmitter's dynamic range to 126 dB, so there is never any distortion caused by limiters.

INTERNAL RECORDING

Audio is simultaneously transmitted and recorded to a removable microSD card using the highly reliable MARF (Mobile Audio Recording Format), which prevents file corruption that can occur during recording due to a dead battery or premature removal of the card.

ZAXNET™

The TRX745 is equipped with ZaxNet™, a long-range remote control system that allows the user to change the frequency, preamplifier gain, sleep mode and set the internal recorder to record, play and stop mode - all without disturbing the speaker.

The devices can also play back audio data via a timecode reference, giving production mixers the ability to play back and remix audio data, creating a virtual multi-track playback and re-recording system.

POWERROLL™

To extend battery life, PowerRoll™ adjusts the TRX745's power level to 100 mW when the audio it receives is being recorded by a ZaxNet™ compatible recorder. If the transmitter's audio is not being recorded, the power is automatically reduced to 25 mW.

MODULATION OPTIONS

The range always depends on the environment, but you have the choice to optimize the transmission for peak performance. Zaxcom High Density Modulation (ZHD) increases the number of available channels from 4 to 9 per 1 MHz of spectrum.
