New: KMIT - Shotgun microphone capsule for the Colette series

The KMIT is the shotgun microphone capsule for the modular Colette series. It is derived directly from the CMIT series.

Colette - modular microphone

The Colette series was introduced back in 1973 and has since been made up of mutually compatible modules that are constantly being updated and supplemented. Microphones from the modular Colette series are comprised of a microphone capsule screwed onto an amplification unit. Any capsule can be combined with any amplifier. Active accessories can be inserted between capsule and amplifier if desired.

CMIT - shotgun microphones

Shotguns of Schoeps’ CMIT series combine high sound quality and high directivity. A shotgun microphone is a higher-order, frequency-dependent directive microphone. It achieves its directivity only from mid frequencies up, while at low frequencies it is comparable to a supercardioid.

CCM - compact condensator microphones

The CCM series consists of compact studio microphones with accessories. CCM and Colette microphones are of equal high quality. They use the identical microphone capsules and their electrical specifications are also equal. The choice between the two series is therefore a question of practical application. The CCM series is particularly suitable where small size plays a decisive role, e.g. on a boompole.
