This combines the outstanding audio quality we know and love from analog radio with the low noise and lowest audio distortion of Digital Wireless.Digital Hybrid Wireless® overcomes the noise of the radio channel by digitally encoding the audio in the transmitter and decoding it in the receiver, but still transmitting the encoded information over an analog FM radio link.  

Digital Hybrid Wireless® was awarded U.S. Patent 7,225,135 in 2007, and in 2017, Lectrosonics received an Academy Award for technical achievement because the majority of Hollywood feature films from 2005 onward were recorded using Lectrosonics Digital Hybrid Wireless® microphone systems.
